Volunteer Nancy Stirling
“We are helping create memories for these families. That feels big. That feels really special.” ~Volunteer Care Coordinator Nancy Stirling

Nancy Stirling came to Singleton Moms over two years ago. She started out volunteering to clean homes. As she continued to connect with the families we serve and the mission of Singleton Moms, she became more involved. Currently Nancy is a Care Coordinator and a member of our Singleton Kids Committee…and we love her!

“My friend Tessa brought me to Singleton Moms. The feeling I get, knowing I have a small part in helping the moms, dads, and children along this moment in time, is what keeps me here. I have never been a part of a group like this. It is full of the best kind of people! I love being a part of it all.

I have had so many wonderful experiences with Singleton Moms. Meeting the people we are helping is the very best of them all. I am always so inspired by their stories and their positive attitudes. They are some of the strongest women I know. It is truly a gift to be able to be included in their journey.

I hope to stay involved in the growth of this organization. It is ever changing to fit the needs of the individuals we are supporting. I want to continue to make plans for the families to join together and experience new and fun events they may not have been given a chance to do without Singleton. I want to be a valuable part of Singleton Moms in any way possible.

My advice to potential volunteers… Get involved in this group as fast as you can. You can do as little or as much as you have time for. The interactions you will have with the people involved will change your thoughts and perception about life. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and to ask for help. There are a lot of people there to assist you. Try out different parts of the program to see what fits your volunteering needs. There are so many opportunities. But I guarantee, you will get so much out of this. “
