Sarah and daughter Katie Blik, avid members of National Charity League of Scottsdale, first volunteered on a Saturday morning at Singleton Moms’ Bare Necessities Day. They dutifully counted inventory, put items on shelves, and even carried bags filled to the brim with much-needed toiletry items to our Singleton parents’ cars. Katie was hooked!
Moved by the mission to support single parents battling cancer, she took an empty box home to gather donations. She proceeded to creatively decorate the box and had it filled with laundry soap, toilet paper, cleaning supplies and more in less than one week! This amazing mother-daughter team also volunteers at our Singleton Kitchen events, helping to prepare nutritious meals for our families. We can’t get enough of these two kind-hearted girls!
