Singleton Moms had the opportunity to team up with the Arizona Coyote hockey players. The guys packed up Bare Necessities bags, meals, and back to school supplies for our families. It was such a pleasure to see young players who have the whole world in front of them, giving back to the community.

The response from the right wing player, Fischer is a great reminder of how often we take the little things in life for granted, “As professional athletes, we have been fortunate to have support for our families in giving us the best gear, coaches, and taking the time to take us to practices and games, and for these families all the money go to treatments and medical bills, it was very cool to see the kids get so excited about backpacks and the Howler stuffed animals we brought.” There is something to be said about giving up your time as a volunteer for a local nonprofit.

Singleton Moms wouldn’t be celebrating our 10th Anniversary without all the amazing businesses, organizations, schools, churches and individuals that keep us thriving. The saying is definitely true in that “Volunteers don’t get paid, not because they’re worthless, but because they’re priceless.”

We are so lucky to have this incredible partnership with the Coyotes and we can’t wait to have their involvement in the future.
